From France to the UK: first steps in Cumbria
I joined my husband who is currently working in the energy sector in Cumbria. After my son’s birth, I decided to launch my business despite having no experience in entrepreneurship and no network in Cumbria, just the desire to make the most of my adventure in England, the country of entrepreneurship.
It all started at the “Coffee Kitchen” in Cockermouth where I saw an ad about a networking group of local entrepreneurs: Jelly Group. Initially I was directed towards a EU Start-Up programme for women led by the Cumbria Growth Hub. Then I heard about the business accelerator programme Fusion Go which has helped me take further steps in my new life as an entrepreneur.
I am now a business connector. I help Sme’s to understand the French market better.
