I’m really excited about this, it’s my first big scene drawing, I put a lot of time into it and I ended up caring about it a lot, I hope it makes you as happy as it makes me!

I wonder how would Canon Steven would react and feel about lil Quartz

I'd think past Steven would at first be weirded out, but intrigued about this happy-go-lucky semi-corrupted version of himself, but then would quickly become the best of brother/friends.

Now Future Steven, I think he'd be a bit uneasy; not only is he looking at a larger, partially corrupted version of himself, but to be faced with the fact this version of him was so happy and confident despite being raised by corrupt gems would probably leave a bad taste in his mouth. He'd likely try to keep things short, because not only is future Lil Quartz overly-friendly, but he was also hyper. And heavy.

It's so weird that 15 year old Steven (current steven) looks so dramatically diffrent from 16 year old Steven. He must've grew a lot over the course of a year.

As a teacher who has worked with teenagers, I assure you - it's not at all weird. Even without a pituitary gland (DOES Steven have one??? I haven't decided) teens often change SO much over the course of only a year or two. 

16 yo Steven and Now Steven aren't even all that different in the grand scheme of things. Their proportions are only a bit off, and the biggest changes are the hairstyle and a piercing. 

Steven could look like this within 2 weeks if he wanted to. He’s been gradually growing over the course of the comic, in fact.
