From NJ to NJ

That would be New Jersey and Nanjing, respectively. This is an idea that may take some getting used to. I don't know if I'll really get it until I'm there, and I don't even know if I'll like it there once I am but, at the same time, I figure this is a once-in-a-lifetime-type offer and I'm a fool to pass it up to... what? continue to get drunk in Philadelphia and, after a few days, bring my slovenly self back to my father's house to shower and catch up on my sleep?

At least I can entertain myself, at 3:30 on a Saturday night/Sunday morn. Nobody should be awake right now if they aren't fucking, drinking or working. I'm doing none of those things and yet here I am.

It's one thing to feel isolated in Philly, a city of 1.5 million people, many of whom are quite like me. It will be quite another to feel isolated in a city of 5+ million, many of whom don't even speak my language. People will probably comment on my height less, anyway.

The moon did look incredible tonight.
