I was in a rush to convene the judging panel and neglected to get a non-bitten photo of this birria taco from Bad Azz Burrito. All the judges had it in the top few, and was the only one we could all agree deserved the title. Congrats, Bad Azz Burrito!
I neglected to take a picture of the taco from Del Norte but honestly it was the same as last time I posted. Great taco, but playing it a bit too safe.
I wasn't super impressed with the trompo from El Patron but I bet it's better outside of the rapid-fire taco fest environment.
Dayne's Craft Barbecue brought one of the more interesting tacos of the day. The meat has a good crunchy crispy texture that stood out from the crowd.
