A/N: Requested by @lavandiaghostgirl . I‘m so sorry this took so long. There were multiple things playing into this being severely delayed. I hope the wait was worth it. If not please let me know and I‘ll write you another one. Once again: I‘m super sorry >///<
„Go to my cousins wedding with me.“
You met Junyongs eyes that held a familiar sparkle in them. Insecurity and doubt rendered you speechless for a moment. The two of you were only dating for a couple of months therefore you hadn’t met his family yet. You were surprised that he would bring it up. Even though the domestic situation you found yourself in probably was a trigger for this request. Knowing that this meant meeting his family for the first time, getting officially introduced as Junyongs girlfriend made you nervous. What if you huys would decide to part ways shortly after? You buried your face in his chest. Snuggled up with him in bed was were you felt the safest which was were you found yourself in this moment and was probably the reason to why you ended up agreeing to his request.
The day of the wedding you felt nervous. You had bought a new dress. Completely unfamiliar with Korean wedding traditions you had put all your trust in Junyong and his judgment on which kind of dress to wear.
„Are you ready, honey?“, you heard Junyongs voice from the entrance of your appartement. You told him that you’d be at his side in a second, but kept turning multiple times in front of the mirror instead. Junyong seemed to have sensed that it didn’t seem like you planned on leaving your bedroom soon. It only took a moment for him to appear behind you. He wrapped his arms around you, kissing your cheek before telling you how beautiful you looked. You turned around to look at him, kissed him softly after whispering a nearly quiet „Thank you“.
Junyong already had told you that the wedding would only consist of the ceremony and a small dinner which had bought you some relief. Against all your worries the introduction to his family went smoothly and most of his close relatives took a liking to you rather fast. You still were very tired when you finally opened the door to your appartement, leading your boyfriend into your home. He had a huge grin on his face, but at the same time you recognized other emotions in his eyes. One being a type of lust that went hand in hand with admiration. It was an emotion that had you feeling weak in the knees. You were glad when he pulled you into a hug, kissing you deeply before resting his forehead against yours. His hands rested on your hips while yours were wrapped around his neck, playing with the hair in the nape of his neck.
„You have no idea how much I want you right now. You look so good in this dress.“, he mumbled before kissing you again, letting his lips wander to your neck. You couldn‘t stop a soft moan from rolling over your lips, but stopped him.
„Then we maybe should move to a more suited place then the entrance hall.“, you told him, pulling him with you.

A/N: this was kinda, kinda not requested by @yeonshook while we talked about this at the hotel room after the concert in Cologne. I actually rather like this one, because it has a similar story telling style as my Hoyeon one which I also liked.
The first time you met Kim Yeonkuk was at the animal shelter you do volunteering work at. You don’t know if it was the fact that he showed up with his motorbike, wearing a leather jacket and looking like a model or the fact that he didn’t greet you even though it was obvious that you both would join the team of volunteers at that day. Something about him simply ticked you off. You knew working with him wouldn’t be easy which was why you were glad when you were assigned to the dog shelter while he would be working in the cat shelter.
The second time you met Kim Yeonkuk was in one of your university courses. He later would ace the class while you only placed as 3rd. Your anger on the handsome man being bigger than the one on the person occupying the second spot. The distaste only got fueled by the cocky look he threw in your direction when you met later that day at the animal shelter.
The third time you met Kim Yeonkuk was during the next stage of the university course. It was during a trip to New York where you got teamed up with him and two other classmates. As this teamwork would determine part of your grade, you decided to ignore your opinion of him and work as a team instead. Your grades would be affected after all. Your plan worked out well in the beginning. Your team of four spent a lovely and very productive first day visiting the Met which provided most information you’d need for your group project and grabbed something to eat after that. It was on the third day on which you visited the MoMa that things started to turn sour between Yeonkuk and you. You couldn’t recall anymore what had triggered it, but at the end of the trip your partner and you were back at the beginning – which meant no talking at all. The project didn’t fail completely, but you knew you could have done better without the dispute between Yeonkuk and you.
Against general belief that says three is the charm for Yeonkuk and you it was four. It was a Wednesday afternoon and you were at the animal shelter where your work colleague Junyong asked you about Yeonkuks whereabouts. You looked at him in confusion while petting one of the smaller dogs that was sitting on your lap, but when your acquaintance mentioned that he knew about you guys sharing classes comprehension dawned on your face. Now that Junyong had brought it to your attention, you realized that you hadn’t seen him in classes either that day which you let him know. He seemed worried so you promised to keep your eyes open. As soon as you started to actively look for Kim Yeonkuk you realized how empty the university campus felt without him. You had your small group of friends, but only now did you realize how you had started to look for him over the last half a year. Him missing equaled missing someone in your life.
It was the following Sunday that you saw him again. You were on your way home from a study gathering with your friends when you saw him sitting by the side of the Han river, gaze fixed in front of him. You didn’t see him at university anymore and your friends had confirmed that he hadn’t attended any classes. Your brows furrowed as it was early November which meant the weather had turned rather cold. Too cold to be sitting outside like this.
“Yah! Kim Yeonkuk! What do you think you’re doing out in the cold?”, you asked him, taking a seat next to him. He either ignored you or didn’t hear you as you didn’t get an answer. You waited a moment before addressing him a second time. “Are you okay, Yeonkuk?“
“Why would you care? You don’t even like me to begin with.” You were surprised about the answer, but also felt anger rising in you already. Even though you knew he wasn’t particularly wrong about it.
“I…”, you were searching for an answer. Why did you care? Because you definitely did. You had been searching for him ever since Junyong had brought his absence to your attention and you had been sure that you would have realized it yourself on Friday the latest. You did care about where he was, what he was doing. Was it possible that he had become your friend without you knowing it? “I actually do care. It’s true that I didn’t like you at first, but… but I guess that changed… You don’t like neither though… Maybe you’re right. I shouldn’t be asking you this. Sorry for interrupting your thoughts.” You were about to get up and leave him, but he held you back.
“I never said I don’t like you. You just assumed that by how you felt about me.”, he told you with a serious look which made you halt your actions. You opened your mouth to disagree but closed it without saying a word. Now that you thought about it, it wasn’t far off. It normally always had been you who started fights, who had given him glares first. He simply had reacted to how you had treated him judged by that first meeting. You were quiet for a couple of minutes.
“Would you give me a second chance?”, you asked quietly. His answer didn’t come immediately, but he nodded. You smiled lightly, but he didn’t react to it. You bumped your shoulder against his. “Is everything okay?”, you asked once again. Worry clearly lacing your voice now. He shook his head, sighted deeply. He seemed to consider if he wanted to trust you.
“My grandmother died on Tuesday. It wasn’t a surprise, but… it still hurt. I lived with her for some years while my parents have been abroad so… we were fairly close.”, he answered you. The sadness was clear in his voice which broke your heart. Even in times where you had disliked him, you still wouldn’t have wanted to see him sad. Maybe you never really disliked him to begin with.
“I’m sorry this happened, Yeonkuk.”, you told him. He looked at you, checking if you meant what you said, finding your words to come from the heart.
The two of you ended up talking for an hour, moving to a café nearby when you both got too cold to keep your seats at the riverside. As it turned out it wasn’t only the death of his grandmother, though it was what threw him off completely, but also the death of his favorite cat at the animal shelter that had him abandon his studies and work for nearly a week. I didn’t know if you in fact managed to take part of the sadness off his shoulders, but he seemed a bit less sad when you parted ways. He seemed okay.
You couldn’t tell how often you have met since that cold November Sunday when you waved to Yeonkuk who approached you. He pressed a soft kiss to your lips. His face being dipped in the street lights next to which you had been waiting for him.
“Did you wait long?”, he asked with a smile. You shook your head. “Next time I won’t let you wait.”, he ensured you. You shook your head, pecked his lips.
“I let you wait a lot longer than you did so we’re still not even.”, you replied with a bright, happy smile, “Now let’s go look for a good restaurant.” You took his hand in yours, squeezed it. He happily smiled at you, buried your linked hands in his jacket pocket.
„Let‘s go!“
