hi! i’m wondering if you could rec me some bakugou redemption fics? thank you!
Here are some of the staff’s recs!
4 Works.
Jack:
Bluebird by EtherealBeing ( E | 40,870 | 6/6 )
Dialing a wrong number was no unusual occurrence. Everyone did it once in a while, and Katuski was well aware of that fact.
However, possessing this knowledge made it no less aggravating for him to discover — a full two minutes into his rant about his day — that he’d been venting his frustrations to a complete stranger. As if that wasn’t enough, said stranger was also inexplicably determined to hear his story to its end.
Paradox by tramezzini ( T | 22,119 | 8/8 )
People who die by instigated suicide are given a second chance, even if they don’t want it. They re-live as supernatural creatures and they get to appear around the person who - indirectly - killed them. Some don’t do anything, the thought of living again, even as some sort of spirit, horrifies them, some torment whoever is responsible for their demise but no one, no matter what they decide to do with their almost second life, ever forgives. No one… except a young boy with fluffy seaweed hair.
[Major Character Death | Implied/Referenced Suicide]
(Curator’s Note: major character death but yO this one had me hurting good)
Serarris:
Falling by soulstring ( E | 131,312+ | 21/? )
He knows that Katsuki is cruel, and for the sake of looking down on him he could do something like this. But even so, if it was just to mess with him, Katsuki of all people should know better than to expect years of punches and cruel taunts will make him say yes.
SeriesPart 1 of You grew up when I wasn’t looking
[Underage]
(Curator’s Note: Falling is nice but it hasn’t been updated for a while and is explicit like halfway through)
Quinn:
Just be Okay Again by Venetus ( G | 2,636 | 1/1 )
In four years, Deku’s the Number One Hero and Bakugou’s not. It’s fine because he learns there are more important things.
For the Day 1 prompt, envy.
(Curator’s Note: Here is a redemption one shot. It’s very angsty though, and leaves off with the expectation of building a better relationship)
