Lilliput Adventures Chapter 7: Big Bad
CW: Vore, evil giant, character death
Tori's eyes fluttered open, squinting against the dim light. She sat up slowly, shivering as her skin brushed the cold, smooth surface. Where was she? Her gaze darted around in confusion. She struggled to sit up, her head throbbing.
"Wh-where am I?" she mumbled.
She pressed her palms flat against the curved glass wall, her breaths coming faster. It was some sort of jar. She was trapped. Tori looked glanced down patting her sides. *My bag is gone!*
Tori's breath quickened, her heart pounding. "Telwin? Mavri?" she called out, her voice trembling. "Where are you?"
As Tori gathered her thoughts, a groan echoed through the glass confines. She whirled around, her chestnut hair whipping across her face, to see a figure slumped against the opposite side of the jar.
"Trina?" Tori gasped. “What are you doing here?"
Trina's athletic form stirred, her eyes fluttering open. "Ugh, my head," she mumbled, rubbing her temples.
"Ugh, what happened?" Trina grumbled, blinking groggily.
"I was hoping you could tell me," Tori said, her voice tinged with frustration.
Trina sat up straighter, scowling as she took in their surroundings. "I followed you, that's what happened."
Tori's eyes widened. "You what? Why would you do that?"
Trina's eyes flashed with anger. "Because those little freak friends of yours, You where hogging them to yourself!” She shoved herself to her feet. "If you had just given them to me, we’d be rolling in money and enjoying life! Trina stomped over to Tori and pushed her against the glass.
Tori’s heart ached for her missing Lilliputian friends. "They're people, Trina. Just... very small people." Tori tried to push Trina’s hands off her, but Trina kept a firm grip on her shirt, keeping her pinned against the glass wall of the jar.
Tori shook her head. “How did you even fallow me?”
"I followed you in a boat," Trina snapped. "When you ran off on your uncle’s boat away from the police mind you…...I wasn’t gonna let you get away with that. Selling those bugs is my way to fortune.” Trina released her grip on Tori with disgust.
Trina then kicked the glass wall in frustration. “But then this freak storm blew in and I lost control. Next thing I knew, everything went black. And now we're stuck in this stupid jar!"
A thunderous boom echoed through the room, causing both women to freeze mid-conversation. The floorboards creaked ominously, each groan growing louder as heavy footsteps approached. Tori's breath caught in her throat, her eyes wide with terror as a monstrous shadow fell across their glass prison.
"Oh God," Tori whispered, her body tensing involuntarily.
Tori recoiled instinctively as the giant peered into the jar, his face breaking into a grin.
"What the hell is that?" Trina hissed.
Tori's voice trembled as she replied, "He's... he's a giant.”
"This can't be real," Trina muttered, her face pale. "Giants don't exist. They can't."
Hilgar's booming laugh filled the room, sending shivers down Tori's spine. "Oh, we exist, little morsels," he rumbled, his voice like thunder.
Hilgar's enormous eye filled Tori's vision as he peered into the jar, his lips curling into a predatory grin. "Well, well, what delightful little morsels we have here," he purred, his voice reverberating through the glass. "Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Hilgar, and you're my newest... guests."
Tori's breath caught in her throat, her mind reeling with vivid flashes of Telwin's stories. She wanted to scream, to plead, but terror had stolen her voice.
"Guests? More like prisoners, you oversized freak!" Trina's sharp voice cut through Tori's paralysis. "Let us out of here right now, or I swear I'll make you regret it!"
Tori's eyes widened in shock at her roommate's outburst. "Trina, no," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "Please, don't antagonize him."
But Trina barreled on, her voice rising to a screech. "I'm talking to you, fathead! Let us out of here before I really get mad!"
"Well well, what do we have here?" he rumbled, leaning down to peer into the jar. "A tiny, feisty morsel."
Tori's heart dropped into her stomach. She shook her head frantically at Trina, trying to get her to stop. But Trina was just getting started.
"You heard me, you big ugly troll!" Trina yelled, her face reddening. "I'm not gonna be some snack for you! Now let me out or I'll..."
She trailed off as Hilgar reached into the jar, his massive hand looming above them. Tori scrambled back, her throat closing up in fear. But the giant's fingers closed around Trina's waist, plucking her out effortlessly.
"No!" Tori cried. "Please, don't hurt her!"
But Hilgar just chuckled, lifting Trina up to inspect her closely.
"A lively one," he rumbled. "I do enjoy it when they squirm."
Trina kicked and flailed, screaming threats at the giant who held her.
Trina's shouting only seemed to amuse Hilgar more.
"Put me down, you big ugly brute!" Trina yelled, kicking her legs furiously.
Hilgar held her up close to his face, his hot breath blasting over her as he scrutinized his tiny captive. Trina swung her fists at the giant's nose to no effect.
Tori could only watch in horror, her heart pounding, as Hilgar played with Trina like a toy. He flipped her upside down, her shirt falling over her head, and gave her a light shake.
"Be careful with her!" Tori shouted, finding her voice.
Hilgar glanced at her, amusement dancing in his eyes. "Don't worry, I won't damage my food too much before eating it."
He gave Trina one more shake before bringing his other hand over and pinching her between his fingers.
Hilgar held Trina between his thumb and forefinger, turning her this way and that as if inspecting a curious insect. "My, my, such a loud voice from such a tiny thing," he mused, his eyes dancing with cruel amusement.
Trina's tiny fists beat against Hilgar's fingers, but he didn't seem to even notice. With casual cruelty, he dangled Trina above his mouth.
Hilgar's lips parted, revealing rows of gleaming teeth. Tori's breath caught in her throat as she watched, paralyzed with terror.
"Let's see how long you keep that spirit," Hilgar said, before dropping Trina onto his tongue. Her muffled screams rang out as his mouth closed around her.
Hilgar's throat worked as he swallowed, a bulge traveling down his throat, sending Trina down into his belly.
When he was done, Hilgar let out a satisfied sigh and patted his stomach. "Ah, delicious. I do love it when they struggle."
He turned his gaze back to Tori, who cowered. "But you, my dear, I'll save for later. A sweet morsel like you deserves my full attention."
Tori felt bile rising in her throat. "How... how could you?" she choked out, tears streaming down her face.
Hilgar's eyes fixed on Tori with predatory intensity. "Why, it's simply the natural order of things, my sweet. The strong consume the weak."
"We're not weak!" Tori protested, her voice trembling. "We're people, just like you!"
The giant chuckled, the sound sending chills down Tori's spine. "Oh, I don’t know about that. But what I do know is that your kind is very tasty. It’s a rare treat. I don’t often find one of you on our oceans.”
Tori's mind raced, searching desperately for a way out of this nightmare. "Please," she begged, "let me go."
Hilgar's grin widened. "Now, why would I do that? I bet you’ll be the tastiest one yet.”
He lifted the jar, swishing Tori around inside. She tumbled and slammed against the walls as he playfully shook her prison.
Tori scrambled back as Hilgar's enormous hand reached into the jar. His fingers easily curled around her, plucking her up into the air.
She cried out in terror as he brought her close to his face, his hot breath washing over her. He inhaled deeply.
"Mmm, your fear smells delicious," he purred.
Tori struggled in vain against his grip
Tori trembled uncontrollably as Hilgar held her petite body between his massive fingers. He ran his tongue along her form, eliciting a shuddered gasp.
"Mmm...simply delectable," he purred. "You taste so sweet!”
Tori squeezed her eyes shut, wishing this to be nothing more than a nightmare. But the moist heat of the giant's breath and the twitching of muscles beneath his skin were terribly real.
Hilgar tilted his head thoughtfully. "Now, how should I prepare you? Perhaps a stew……or a roast maybe….”
"Please, I'm begging you. Just let me go back home."
Hilgar's lips curled into a cruel sneer. "Oh no, little morsel. You're not going anywhere except my belly."
To emphasize his point, he pressed Tori against the hard swell of his stomach. Muffled screams echoed up from within, sending a fresh wave of horror through Tori's mind.
"Hear that? That's what awaits you soon enough," Hilgar taunted. “But I'll be merciful and give you a quick end on the chopping block.”
He ran a finger down her back in a mocking caress. Tori cringed at his touch, her heart hammering against her ribs.
"Yes, I believe a stew is the perfect way to enjoy you," Hilgar declared. "I can already taste it."
He turned and carried Tori across the giant room, her eyes widening at the sight of the massive butcher block. An array of cruel looking knives and cleavers lay in wait.
"You've been so sweet, I'll give you a quick end before you become part of me," Hilgar purred. He laid Tori onto the wooden block, pinning her in place with one finger pressed to her chest.
Tori thrashed and screamed, but she couldn't budge the giant's hold.
Tori squeezed her eyes shut as Hilgar selected a massive cleaver from the table.
"Please, I'm a person just like you!" she cried out desperately.
Hilgar let out a booming laugh that shook Tori to her core.
"Don't be silly. You're just a tasty little morsel to me," he sneered.
The cleaver hovered above Tori, ready to end her life in an instant. She trembled uncontrollably, her mind racing for anything she could say or do to stop this.
"I-I have a family who loves me," she stammered, tears pooling in her eyes. "Friends who will miss me. Taking my life for a brief meal isn't worth all the pain you'll cause."
Hilgar paused, seeming to consider her words for a moment. But then his cruel grin returned.
"Nice try, but I don't care about any of that. Now hold still."
The cleaver swung down in a wide arc. Tori screamed, bracing for the end. But the blade embedded itself in the wood right next to her head.
Tori's eyes flew open in shock. Hilgar leaned down, his hot breath washing over her.
Hilgar chuckled darkly. "Don't worry, I won't eat you just yet. I just like playing with my food, fear adds to the flavor.”
With that, he plucked Tori off the butcher block and carried her back to the jar. Her heart pounded wildly even as relief flooded through her. She had a little bit more time.
He licked his lips before placing Tori back into the confines of the jar. Towering over her, he grinned hungrily.
"Don't get too comfortable though. You'll still end up in my belly soon enough. You should feel honored to be consumed by me.”
With that, he turned and left, his footsteps booming through the room.
Tori sank to her knees, finally releasing the tears she could no longer hold back. She was nothing but food to this monster. And soon he would cook her into a stew, ending her life in a horrifying way.
Unless she could figure out how to escape first...
