from the album Bishouné: Alma del Huila
I owe it to Noah, i hate to be the one that says it but 40, OVO’s hitmaker and leadman, added this EP to my long list of already cemented ones. Sampling this song on Jungle i was curious to know its origins which led me here.Everything he coordinates is way too fluid for its own good, Pour Mamam and Keep On Running are my favorite songs on it no doubt. As a short term follower of him i still am seeing his imprint in the evolution of what r&b has become. Maxwell and Bootsy's lovechild if i may.. the best part is that even though the intro starts off with 6 8 the sound transforms into something bolder. This EP is a rarity, there's only 6 songs, released in 2014 and hasn't been anything made prior or seems to be in the works for Gabriel. In January he said his new album Jardin was finished. Now we wait.
