Things couldn’t have been going better, with the couple. They’d created a steady routine, and when he had to travel, she accompanied him. They’d flown out to Colorado, Washington and Ohio so far, but other than that, they’d only ventured to southern California. Gabriel was excited to take her to all these different places, showing her what all of these cities had to offer. He liked that she worked with the team, so she could travel with them. But most of all, he just loved being able to be with her.
They were back home for about a week, and then they’d be doing a lot more back and forth across the country. It could be exhausting, but a thrill nonetheless.
They were back in one of the empty offices at Dodger’s Stadium, that they had allowed Danny to convert into a make-shift salon. She’d just finished freshening up his cut, and gave him a little beard trim, which was followed by Felix coming in to get a quick trim for the upcoming road trip they had coming.
“I don’t know, Milwaukee is nice. It’s just cold this time of year,” Gabe comments, lightly laughing as he watched Danny do her work.
