A beautiful day like this calls for some cloud appreciation. Gaetan Caron thought of Alfred Stieglitz's "Equivalents" series when he snapped this wispy Mendocino cloud. Stieglitz, like many artists, was inspired by Kandinsky's theory of "equivalence", the belief that abstract forms, lines, and colors could express emotions, ideas, and inner states.
