            HE  GLANCED  UP  AND  ,  ALMOST  COMICALLY  ,  raised  but  a  single  brow.  his  ears  swiveled  and  twitched  in  time  with  the  sounds  all  around  them.  thankfully  ,  the  plaza  wasn’t  AWFULLY  BUSY  ,  but  there  were  still  JUST enough  people  around  to  give  sonic  some  pause.  (  even  if  touch  came  like  second  nature  ,  as  swift  as  wind  and  natural  as  a  blade  of  grass  reached  HIGH  for  the  sun  overhead.  touch  wasn’t  the  problem  so  much  as  ALL  OF  THE  STARING.  )

          but  her  PLEADING  EYES  won  out  ,  as  amy  stretched  her  arms  out  wide.  avoidance  gave  way  to  acquiescence  as  sonic  finally  crossed  the  distance  and  gave  amy  a  LOOSE  HUG  ,  with  one  arm  wrapped  around  her  torso  and  squeezing before  swiftly  PULLING  AWAY.

BOUNDING UP THE DIRT PATH HER CAME HER DEAR FRIEND CREAM, and the sight of her alone instantly brightened all the features on Ari’s precious freckled face. Her eyes filled with light, resembling much tinier versions of the radiant star found in the big blue sky, and her mouth stretched into a toothy grin.

“ cruh ... crrr ... Cream!” Ari began, her tone steeped in childish joy. “ i … it’s ve … very nice to see Crrr … Cream! "

At the exciting offer, Ari sprang to her feet, nearly taking a tumble from the sudden movement, and bounced excitedly on her toes.

@gaiaplanet: Lilith's form slowly wavered into place, close enough to the hedgehog yet distant to give space. her hands moved, making sure shadow was watching before signing. ( GRABBED THE EMERALD. LETS LEAVE. )

Shadow had his doubts about being assigned to a crucial mission with someone he wasn't familiar with, but Rouge and Omega were both on separate duties. Besides, Omega wasn't one for stealth missions and this one involved not alerting the good Doctor to their presence. This was a highly secure and secretive base, and they didn't need Eggman knowing that they knew about it. So far the Ultimate Life Form was impressed with Lillith's performance, but still-- he reserved his trust for now.

Making eye contact, Shadow nodded curtly. He knew she wasn't lying as he could feel the emerald's energy. His quills bristle and glow lightly in response to the nearby power source. Keeping a close watch on a security drone, Shadow quietly gestured for her to come closer and hand the emerald over so he could teleport them out.

▬▬ Whisper turns- and the moment her gaze falls upon Surge of all people, she freezes up. A few arcs of cyan electricity instinctively pulse off of her body- but thankfully, she lets her speak, and she listens.

▬▬ She relaxes her stance. Considering her words... thinking it over.

It's Surge's fault that Blue turned into a Violet negawisp- and that Green is a Frenzy wisp now. They'll never be the same again. And Blue is...

No. That wasn't Surge's fault. Blue came up with a plan to get her out of a bad situation, and it worked. Don't blame her for anything other than what she actually did.

▬▬ But that wound is still fresh- it hasn't even stopped bleeding. She can't help being upset over that. It wasn't... anyone's fault, really. If Blue hadn't done that, they all would've died in Phantom's pocket dimension anyway.

▬▬ She gestures outward with her arms, and... there's no wispon. Not on her back, under her cloak, on her hip... it's gone. She's not going to bother trying to explain why destroying her weapon upset her. In fact, she's not going to explain anything, because if she started to dig back into it, she'd just get even more angry. So instead, she just lets out a small growl, slides her mask over her face, and starts walking away.

▬▬ Surge is showing remorse. She's trying. Whisper can't fault her for that, and trying to fight her would just be... wrong. She doesn't want to be here.
