I swear every time i read your fics/ read stuff about them here I just enjoy them even more. XD
The political changes that are happening with the galahkari would probably make a lot of people a bit twitchy, huh?
I am having a lot of fun imagining people think long and hard about the last few years, the current affairs and about just how messy this could get.
And in heart of thunder i can just see regis go grey(er) when he gets the report on what was going on in his city.. poor guy. The whole thing is gonna be stressful. Esp as everybody and their mother carry the concerns they get up the chain of command and at some point all those lucian concerns would probably end up on his desk bc nobody knows enough about the minority they fucked over..
Awwww. Thank you!
*blushes*
Oh, the changing political situation makes people very twitchy. There hasn't been such a upheaval since the New Wall got erected. And that was around 100-120 years now. For that time things have become predictable. And now they aren't anymore. Which way will the wind blow? How do I get on the winning side? There so will be a noble or three that will try to marry their daughters to the Galahkari.
This could get very messy. And there are people who are very much aware of it. Things are one wrong breath away from violence right now. It would be violent and bloody already, if there weren't people like Nyx doing their best to not let the situation devolve this far. But there's only so much they can do.
Yeah. And regis won't be the only one. Imagine people like Sagitta and Hypocris and their ilk. They would probably take an extended vacation outside the city, if there wasn't a war going on.
I love that! Just people going "this is above my paygrade" and dumping this stuff on their boss. Until it reaches Regis. Who'll make Cor deal with it. Because "You understand the Galahkari the best out of all of us".
Meanwhile, said minority, is cheefully stealing their stuff back and no one quite dares to stop them. Because they're the only reason Lucis hasn't lost the war yet.
