18. what’s your favorite trope?
I don't follow many tropes, but my blog follows a very specific line from the Seabiscuit movie, stated by the horse trainer, Tom Smith:
" You don't throw a whole life away just because it's banged up a little bit. "
Specific to this scene ( keep in mind that was set in the 1930s ), Charles Howard, future owner of Seabiscuit, was looking for a team for horse racing.
Owner Charles Howard? His son had just died and his marriage failed, though he had just remarried Marcela Zabala. Trainer Tom Smith? He was an old cowboy in areas of the old west that were being roped off for development and had to high tale it to sideshow circuses for a living. Jockey Red Pollard? A runaway of a boy who was too tall for being a jockey and too short to for societal standards AND on luck in his sport before finding Seabiscuit.
The entirety of this blog is based on the idea of giving people a chance because, despite a past, they may be the exception.
21. what’s one fandom that terrifies you and why?
God, none really? It depends on the people. I have muses from ' niche ' fandoms so I don't have to deal with opinions much. And if there is an opinion. IDK? Go write the character yourself?
29. what’s your least favorite genre to write?
Horror and violence ( which is funny bc I built a mercenary verse because I somehow floated into some Resident Evil RPers early on ). It's not that I HATE the genre ; I feel like I'm clumsy when I write it. I love small details and emotional value. I feel like horror and violence need action and quick thoughts that are harder for me to write. There's fast coordination.
