Main Character Death:

Hmm I’m gonna go neutral with a C for this one. It’s very much a situational thing. Depends on the series I’m reading fic for or the fic setting itself. Or the mood I’m in when I happen across it. Sometimes you’re in the mood for angst or catharsis, sometimes not, you know? It wouldn’t necessarily stop me from giving a fic a chance, but it just helps temper my expectations for what I’m getting myself into lol. I’ve definitely enjoyed fics where this happens and it’s done well and really works with the story! But it’s more of a trope that I just accept when I see it tagged rather than the kind of thing I’d go looking for.

Only One Bed:

Ah, Only One Bed Trope, my Beloved 💕A+++++++ This is top tier for me personally!! If I see that a fic has this in it then I’m rubbing my hands together in delight! It’s the perfect mix of initial awkwardness that inevitably evolves into something else the longer they’re forced to share the same space together. A good dose of denial and a hefty dose of unresolved sexual tension and it’s gonna be a good read! I think it tends to work well with the types of ship I read for most often so I enjoy it very much.
