My tried and true eldster, @generik_art is a true blessing in my life. We have many interests in common and he doesn't mind hanging out with his old mum! Over the weekend, my eldster, Erik Rutterford partipated in a fundraising exhibition event, 'With Ukraine', at the WWW (Worldly Wicked Wise) Gallery in Queen's Park. I went along for the closing event on the Sunday, which was great fun. Got to see Erik's and many other's fabulous art on the walls, see old colleagues, Zoe Landau Konson who organised it with Marta Pieregonczuk, and also Helena Carrizosa who was an exhibitor. It was a wonderful reunion after many years. Of course, I met some nice new people too! Seeing old friends, making new ones and just people shots... Over the weekend, my eldster, Erik Rutterford partipated in a fundraising exhibition event, 'With Ukraine', at the WWW (Worldly Wicked Wise) Gallery in Queen's Park. I was really looking forward to this evening. Created at least 15 wearable art pieces just for tonight. But the flu is real. And although it feels bad I know in my heart of hearts that my ancestors just spare me or one of the guests something and for that I am grateful. I barely had enough energy to attend my brother’s funeral yesterday. Being out in the elements crying and snotting and sneezing couldn’t have helped but it’s where I had to be. So, I close Art Of Noize quietly but passionately. My very first solo exhibit. 💋Thank you Mama, auntie Patsy, Daddy, Langston, Graham, Corey, Uncle Friend, Auntie Iris and Trust. Onward.
