Lance had almost completely forgotten he was in the Castle still, watering the small garden the team had started so that they could keep some food on board. He was probably one of the few willing to actually fertilize it. Didn’t help that the fertilizer came from Kaltenecker and stank to high heaven.

So often, garden time for him ended up with him singing whatever came to mind that he could remember from home. Usually it was his mothers favorite songs. Everything from traditional music to rap. How she’d gotten interested in that, he had no clue. He didn’t ask either. Just let her enjoy what she wanted. 

With a dramatic turn, he stuttered to as top, noticing that he wasn’t as alone as he usually was. “E-Er, Hi there!” He said, trying to be nonchalant. “Didn’t see you there.”

Things had mostly been quiet since Sendak was rescued. The two had had a small party to celebrate their marriage and Sendak had been very slowly recovering from his injuries, though he was being considered for prosthetics since he still couldn't walk without crutches. This was thought to be due to nerve damage but really, they didn't know.

Anyway, Sendak was currently standing outside Rocket's office. He had been thinking about something a lot lately and he really needed to ask Rocket about it. He gave a soft sigh before limping into the room. "Hey Rocket? Can I ask you something?"
