I made a video of my latest Game Boy Color mod because I'm a dork. The screen is a FunnyPlaying Game Boy Color 2.0 Q5 IPS Laminated Backlight Kit, with a FunnyPlaying shell and custom Cosmic Purple buttons. All from Retro Game Repair Shop.

One of my occasional hobbies is modding Game Boys. This is my latest build. I swapped the shell, cleaned it (so gross), and installed an lcd screen. The speaker doesn't work so that needs replacing, and I forgot to order new start/select buttons so it's using the old ones for now. But otherwise it's playable!
Finished up another GBA mod. This one’s for me.
(Also yes, the dust is on the OUTSIDE of the screen, there’s just ALL THE POLLEN out in the garden today)
