Flappy Unicorn: Annoyed
Similar to flappy bird, the task is the get the little unicorn through the pipes and collect the hearts. It becomes a bit addicting because of its simplicity and annoyance of not being able to make it past the first few obstacles. Unlike many games you only get one chance to try not to die. Each time requiring you to start over from the beginning.
Bejeweled convinced me that it is the most addicting game in the planet. It is filled with amazing visuals that reward my actions. Bejeweled’s ability to keep my attention time after time, is amazing in itself. Its visualizations from one level to another almost literally hypnotizes me into keep playing the game. The most satisfying part of this game is when I am awarded with great feedback whenever I match and destroy many gems at once. Kind of like how a thesis statement should be reiterated throughout an analytical paper, the badges and overlay of the mans’ voice is a reiterated reward I am receiving from the system. It is when the lightening strikes all the gems affected is when the system satisfies what my imagination was hoping for; amazement.

Stanley Parable :: Scrutinized
This game builds a strong relationship between the player and the narrator in the most anomalous way possible; your every move is traced and commented on by the narrator. No matter what you do, where you go, how long you stand near something, the AI will know.
Boombeach :: righteous
Boom beach is the another game that Crash of Clan released recently. The game was pretty similar to Crash of Clan except this game made me feel righteous. The goal of this game was to save the island from evil soldiers so when I defeat them, it made me feel like hero. Unlike Crash of Clan made that me feel like evil for going attacking these random people and stealing their money.
I am level 7 now and can’t wait to get higher level and save more islands.
Robot Unicorn Attacker 2: Exaltation
Robot Unicorn is magnificent. The player is a robotic body of a unicorn, with a beautiful flowing mane of ephemeral rainbow that also trails behind the player as it moves. The player taps and holds to jump from platform to platform to collect fairies, droplets (points) and fire (for lives) as well as gallop through hoops to complete challenges. The feeling while playing is very exalted and heroic, like you are the only robot unicorn in the world gallantly racing to save the world. When you hit spikes and die the feedback is very disturbing and makes you cringe. I find this game to be extremely addicting through it’s challenges, feedback and especially soundtrack.
Flip Runner:: Anxious
This game is fast-paced and seemingly infinite. It is a platform game in which you are continuously clicking to flip back and forth—from right side up to upside down, to avoid moving obstacles coming your way. The game doesn’t change much, except the background colors change and the pace quickens, making the player feel more pressure and anxiety. When you hit an obstacle, the player dies very suddenly and the sound effects make the player jump a bit, heightening the anxiety about avoiding obstacles. The mechanics are extremely simple, you can only “click to flip”. Overall, exciting and addicting in the beginning, but gets boring after awhile.
Toki Tori 2 :: Affectionate
A primary mechanic in this game involves lightly disrupting the wildlife around you to aid in overcoming obstructions, but the personality and character imbued into each of these creatures causes me to feel thankful and affectionate toward them individually. Their presence is really helpful and they mean no harm, rather than being the simple mechanisms for progression or enemies that are typically found in platforming games.
Happy Wheels :: Amused
Rag-doll games are rather humorous to play because of the dramatic actions/movements. This one in particular takes it to another level, by adding flashy gore to it. Yes, it’s a gruesome and sadistic game but at the same time, the level design, environment and campy gore are what makes this game amusing.
