GameFreak 30th Livestream
Well, the biggest highlight of this livestream is the translator/commentator who sounds like he was torn out of bed and brought straight into the livestream to speak out his ass. Very boring, and it really doesn’t have to be. The very unnecessarily boring presentation of Little Town Hero is going to kill the game’s reputation.
I fell like if Game Freak wasn’t the creator of this game, it would have more love and hype behind it than it has now. Not only is this livestream killing the reputation of this game, it’s making fans angry about the lack of Pokemon Sword and Shield news which will probably ruin those games’ reputations as well. We did get a new Gigantamax trailer for Sword and Shield, so that’s FINE. As a fan of Pokemon and a supporter of Game Freak, I really hope this livestream doesn’t cause any deep divides or damage to their games’ reception.
Nothing says Happy Anniversary like this exhausted guy who sounds like he’s not even 1% enthused about anything going on in the stream. Maybe next year Game Freak can have a better celebration.
