Copying DOS stuff to Toshiba Libretto 70CT
Some say that this is the best DOS gamming handheld. Is it? I thought it might be thanks to its fast 640x480 TFT screen, passive cooled Pentium MMX and Yamaha OPL3-SAx audio. On the other side the screen is very dim with no easy control of backlit intensity, there is only a small mono speaker and Toshiba forgot to include PS/2 port for mouse (don’t even try to play strategy games with the integrated trackpoint).
It’s a lovely device but if you really want a portable DOS gaming device look at Toshiba Portégé series (~1997-1998). You will get better screen, better speakers (with hardware volume knob) and a normal keyboard usable with human fingers.
