Thanos (a.k.a the Mad Titan) is a deadly antagonist in the Marvel Universe. He is a Titan and a descendant of the Eternals. His enemies are: the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain Marvel, the Shield, etc.
Thanos came from the planet Titan and his life began wrong. He born with purple skin and a deformed face. His mother rejected him. As younger, he has been abandoned in an underground cave when he was forced to survive until he met his future "love interest": Mistress Death. With her help, the young Titan developped his powers, his science knowledges and his physical strength. Meanwhile, he led a scientific experiment that caused the death of many Titans. Result: He got banned from his own homeworld.
First, he became a space pirate. When he saw Mistress Death again, he offered a gift for her: He nuked Titan and many millions of his own fellows. Nextafter, he terrorized the rest of the universe. And he tracked the Infinity gems with the assistance of his intergalactic army to accomplish his mad wish: To erase the half population of every form of life in the universe. For that, He reunited the gems in one Gauntlet: The Infinty Gauntlet.
In comics, he wanted to impress the Death who was seen by only him. In the MCU, he explained his quest in order to prevent the over-population. In these deviations, he achieved his genocidal plan by snapping his fingers.
The Mad Titan even caused lot of pains, terror, sufferings and deaths toward his enemies (The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc.). He turned Nebula into a cyborg, killed Loki, sacrified Gamorra his own adoptive daughter to get one of the Infinity gems and destroyed Vision in front of Scarlet Witch too. And finally, he haunted Thor by making him see as powerless to the eradication of the half-universe (the Thunder God should behead the Titan instead).
-Deadpool: "You look so terrific, Thanos. Thanks to you, Josh Rolin is becope famous."
-Wolverine: "Do you praise this psycho alien, Wade ?"
-Thanos: "I don't care about your devotion, Deadpool. 😒 -silently giggling-😊 Your upcoming slangs won't work on me anyway. 😈"
-Tinky Winkynos: "Not impressed, uh ?"
-Thanos (to Tinky): "Do you say "what" ?"
-Tinky: "Hey, purple guy. Do you remember me ?"
-Thanos (briefly afraid): "What the hell ?! 😨 -turning angry- Why are you dressed like me, you freaky creature ? And how dare you sit in my (jury) chair 😠"
Tinky: "C'mon.I also destroyed the Avengers me too just after you. 😅"
Deadpool: "And I am the one who stopped and changed you, Tinky the Mad Teletubby. You even ceased all your conquests."
Thanos: "What a shame ! So you don't must be worthy of this chair. 😛"
Tinky (irritated): "Win the public vote first. And we will fight an ultimate battle once and all. 😠"
