We’re pro athletes, Boba. Constantly in motion, sometimes our only breaks are during off season or when we sleep. If you’re not enthusiastic about the sport this can get exhausting quickly...we live fast paced lives.

I feel like you’re a reprieve from that fast paced life. You and your cute little Boba shop are a break from the madness that is an athletes world. The fact that you’re beautiful and so fucking sweet is the icing on the cake. It makes sense that I wouldn’t be the only one to notice that.

i laugh a little, covering my mouth as i mumble out apologies for laughing. no, it’s im sorry for laughing. i know what you meant. giggling more as tears prickle up in my eyes from laughing so hard. once i finally catch my breath, i smile and wipe my eyes. i’ll go for only the two of you don’t worry.

I’ve been meaning to ask, aside from our date, how would you feel about coming to one of our games? It doesn’t have to be for me! i look around the cafe, seeing no one so i sit down with him. i smooth out my apron and clothes, smiling. alright, then. would you like to answer?

I watch him leave, not bothering to answer him instead glaring as he chuckles. Sorry about him Boba, he’s- a lot. I sigh, reaching for one of the taiyaki. It makes sense though. I cock my head as I look at you, a small blush forming on my cheeks even as I continue. I feel like you’re worth it. And I guess so does he.

oh! no! its alright you don’t have to apologize for him. it’s more than alright. happily watching him munch on the pastry as i listen. a blush forms on my cheeks as he continues on, looking down on my feet. a-ah am i?
