Deja-vu.
Had a really terrible gastric attack today at the army camp. I don't know why it happened either, because I ate dinner the night before and breakfast that morning. And if you know me, I'm not one to skip meals!!! I AM A PIG!? So how could this have happened :( anyway, with respect to the title, it really felt like the sec 4 camp night walk all over again. I was STUFFING MY FACE with all the snacks and tidbits, hoping that the stupid hydrochloric acid in my stomach (right? IDK my chem sucks haha) would attack the food and leave the walls of my poor tummy alone. But obviously it didn't work. It felt like something was eating GNAWING AT MY INSIDES. It was shitty. I tried to bear with it but we were moving around a lot and I gave in at around 12+
so the scary thing is that we were sitting under the blazing sun and Mdm Pathrose was trying to usher us into the shade so we wouldn't get heatstroke, but I felt better under the sun. In the extreme heat. It was really weird, knowing my body wanted something that would probably make me fall sick. It happened again when I was waiting in the clinic to see the doctor, this really nice guy called Y Y Lam helped me buy beehoon soup from the canteen upstairs and I was hugging it while waiting for the doctor to see me. Occasionally I burnt the tip of my fingers on the hot container but I liked the rush of warmth that enveloped my body so...oddly I did it over and over.
Okay maybe I just needed something a little off the extreme side to distract me from the pain. I was literally doubled up, trying to compress my stomach (and myself) so the pain would go away. Didn't work. But thanks once again to the really sweet NS guys who were joking around to make me feel better. This recruit was looking at the address on my IC and went all "HEY CORONATION ROAD WEST?! YOU'RE MY NEIGHBOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and his friend said "eh don't scare her lah, she'll think you're gonna stalk her!!"
hahahahahhah okay I couldn't laugh at that point in time (I managed a weak smile at best) but it's kinda funny now that I think about it.
oh and I really thank God for all the opportunities I had today. Like. Have you ever been driven around in an Army Jeep? Had a Major buy food for you? Had your classparent follow you around the army camp to take care of you? Haha yeah, Mdm Pathrose really was nice. She tried chatting with me about my family and she asked if I was anorexic HAHAHAHAHAHA.
OH AND THE SCARIEST THING ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS THAT
by the time the doctor had prescribed the medicine to me, it was around 2.45 and apparently the activities had ended at about 2.30. So when we were driven back to the parade square, I got to get out of the car in front of EVERYBODY and it was really intimidating. I'm not cut out for stardom HAHA. ._. seriously..........feeling 800pairs of eyes on me was freaky.
hahahahah and after I got out of the car, I couldn't find A03 in the crowd so I sat with Pathrose and this other teacher at the teachers' area. Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhh then limo walked past, looked in my direction (heart skips a beat), smiled (heart melted) and then waved I SWEAR I WAS HAVING SPASMS INTERNALLY HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH damn and then I realised he must have been waving at his ODAC teacher who was seated in front of me.
Shucks :(
HAHAHA. Oh and piece of news for heartbreak #2 is that BSB probably has a girlfriend already sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Thanks PYY for coming to school today :)
