Missing my old ward, my young women, my girl friends. This was our first family picnic with the ward, we gathered at Foxtail picnic area at Mt. Charleston. I remember hopping on the back of Tanner’s motorcycle, and enjoying the nice ride to the mountains. We stopped at Whole Foods Market to grab a box of cookies, I didn’t have the time to make anything because the girls and I had just gotten back from girls camp. I remember getting really excited to meet everyone in the ward especially the “Golden Girls” ladies, they were so fun to talk to. Oh the memories. My downtown ward will always have a special place in my heart, especially these girls in my arms.
