Hiya! You made a Harvest Moon AP post on your old blog that explains how to change the characters and I was wanting to ask about that. It seems like I'll have to revert back the files to the original iso every single time I make a replacement change that isn't right, and I feel like there's going to be a LOT of changes I don't want as I pinpoint who is who. Is it easy to revert back to the original iso if I don't like what I did? Whats the best way to make that process clean and straightforward?
oof, good on you for finding me akjsfnjdgn
i havent honestly done it in a while so im entirely rusty, but ill try to refresh my memory and help. for me, i recall having a lot of different isos bc i knew id have to revert back to the original iso if i messed up.
Really, all you have to do to “Revert” to the original iso is have a copy of the original saved - a backup for when you want to play the default game, and for when you mess up editing the isos. then just open that instead of the edited one, and you’re reverted, i think? I’ll double check.
My best advice is just have as many copies as you can. I reccomend the original iso, the edited iso, and a copy of the edited iso.
i recomend a copy of even your edited iso, bc when you mess up your edited one, its easiest to just go back to the saved edited iso u were happy iwth
I DONT know. If that makes sense, but i can help you however I can. I’m gonna relook at the original post to refresh my memory.
