As many of you know, there’s been plenty of rumours about Charlie Holmes taking advantage of underage girls... There was only rumours, so I refused to believe it because there wasn’t any strong proof, but since the band shared a post about it on Facebook, it’s pretty clear that Charlie’s behaviour is the main reason why they broke-up, not the only one though.
I don’t know Charlie and I can’t be 100% sure about this allegation, but why would someone (lots of people actually) spread something so awful if it wasn’t true?
I felt the need to share this commentary above to support the other band members that should not be blamed for this. Of course they could of have called him out sooner, but just imagine how hard it is to give up your dreams, give up on the band that you putted so much effort into for many years and calling out the person that was your friend and band mate for so long. It takes some courage. And there’s privacy too, being in a band with someone does not mean you know everything about that person.
So it’s pretty sad that this happened to them and I believe we should not let this fact ruin Heart In Hand’s music.
I feel sorry for the guys and the victims involveld in this.
