LGBT rally at Serbian Mission in NYC
LGBT leaders in NY will rally at noon Friday, October 8, 2010, at the Serbian Mission in New York City at 5th Ave. and 67th St.
Americans are demonstrating in solidarity with Serbian gays, as they try to hold their first Pride March in Belgrade this weekend amidst violent threats from rightwing anti-gay groups.
Michael Petrelis of Gays Without Borders will be delivering to the Serbian Mission A letter signed by 43 LGBT leaders worldwide. In the letter, the leaders will be urging Serbian authorities to protect the marchers at the Pride March.
