I want my circuit body boyfriend to keep me safe with all the privileges that he carries. I want his light, smooth skin to illuminate in the darkness, guiding my path through the rave. I want his big arms to embrace me and shield me away from the loneliness of gay adult life. I want his washboard abs to do laundry on, to clean our sweaty tank tops and jockstraps after the DJ stops playing, after the sun rises at the hotel party, and after the cabs back to our bedroom. To drown deep into the reflection I see in his eyes, and to hope that my eyes reflect back a version of himself that he desires and longs for?
