Mairwen blinked as Sabal held out the flower for her, taken by surprise at the action. She… Hadn’t expected anything of the sort. Especially from him. And the flower was actually quite pretty as well. Her smile was warm and genuine: she loved flowers, loved receiving them.

❝How kind of you, Sabal.❞ Later she would determine what she could do with the gesture. What it might mean, how she could use it. For now, she would simply take it for what it was.
