Traversing the Hellsing Manor, Alucard had actually managed to wake up relatively early today of all days as he made his way through the halls, his body clad in his iconic red coat and hat as he was made his way toward the room of his compatriot, his finest catch out of all the humans he had seen turned into vampires.

Celes Victoria, his eyes in the sky and a young police officer that he had gotten rather used to, which internally made him rather annoyed considering he didn’t think he would be used to anyone barring his boss, Sir Integra. After a few moments, he finally made his way into Celes’ room, observing the coffin which housed her as he started to move closer.

“Rise and shine, Police Girl. You can’t sleep forever, trust me I’ve tried.”

It’s hardly worth the extra paladins the director insisted on sending. There’s not even any reports of vampires in the area, just ghouls. Mindless puppets aimless in their attacks on the place. ‘Good experience,’ Makube had said, ‘show the others how to handle these profane undead.’

Like Heinkel’s ever going to need help. Lately, seeing this many ghouls is something of a rarity. Nothing like the years after the last crusade—Goddamn Nazis had left one hell of a mess to clean up.

Still… the Regenerator complies, staying back should these youngsters prove unfit to handle the task. Give them a taste of more than heretical blood. The new Iscariots, Heinkel admits, are doing well at the very least. Smart about their teamwork and making few mistakes in their shots. They’ve been thoroughly trained, though not by Heinkel as they once would’ve been. The old gunner doesn’t have much to do with their comrades these days.

Everyone knows to stay clear of them and Heinkel does nothing to dissuade that notion.

They aim at a still-moving corpse (dismembered but not completely returned to true death) and fire with barely more than a glance then move on. Around them are more bodies, but they’re no longer moving. As Heinkel sweeps further along, though, something about them changes. The bodies on top are broken, not shot. Heads crushed by brute force rather than pierced by bullets.

Alarm crackles through the radio. There is a vampire! Red-blonde hair, unarmed, but wearing a uniform.

Scheiße!

Breath hissing out through bared teeth, Heinkel pivots and makes for the frantic gunfire. It’s only a matter of moments until they find the target, hunkered down but about to step out into the hall like a lamb to fucking slaughter. They act without thinking, dragging the woman back and away from sight.

The look they give their ‘captive’ for her outburst is nothing short of blistering. Fingers clamp firmly back over Seras’ mouth.

Heinkel may be only half-sane these days, but they can still think quick enough to growl a retreat order into their rarely-used mic. They follow with a snarled warning at the headstrong commanding officer to get everyone back to the Vatican and let them handle this. Only then do they finally release the vampire’s face and step back.

“What wash shat??”

Heinkel’s voice is barely above a murmur, but the fury in it is palpable. For the moment, their last encounter doesn’t matter. Doesn’t even cross their mind. There’s only the image of Seras half a second away from being riddled with blessed bullets.

“Hou wanna die?”

He didn’t move a muscle when ice cold lips pressed against his. She had to stretch really far to even reach his face, he feared she might fall over for a moment. But instead she focused on keeping her lips pressed against his until gravity took its toil. They parted with the faintest of kissing noises, not thanks to the Captain, who’s lips had barely moved at all.

   He was too taken aback by the sudden action and merely tilted his head at her when his red eyes met her. Much like a dog which wasn’t quite sure what was going on right now. He knew WHAT she did. But didn’t quite know why she did it. The situation did not seem fitting for such an action, they were both working after all. 

           Was this gesture to encourage him? Maybe..

{ ⊼ }  —-  what’s your favorite thing about rp?

My favorite thing about RPing has always been the wide variety of different people you can meet via this hobby, and the life-long friends that I’ve made across various RPCs. Above all else, that’s always going to be my ‘favorite’ thing about being here.

But beyond that? The chance to creatively write, without worrying about if it’s “perfect” or “professionally written.” This has always provided a relaxing break from my more ‘serious’ writing (be that my poetry or WIP stories), and it’s helped me to improve my writing without getting burnt out on the practice.

{ ⋀ }  —-  talk about your favorite ship!

Okay so here’s the thing: I’m a shipping whore.

That being said, asking me to pick a ‘favorite’ ship is nearly s impossible as asking me to pick a favorite song  —  I genuinely can’t. So instead, I’m going to talk about a few favorites real quick!

In-Fandom Ships:  Alucard x Walter owns my heart  &  soul, and likely always will. I’ve tried not to be too blatant about that over the years, on my blogs, but ah-  I’ve reached that phase in life where I’m pretty shameless about ‘shipping on main’ now. You’ll likely be able to pick up on this, from various posts here, and I am not sorry for that.  (This being said, I have a lot of in-fandom ships, and there’s plenty of others that I adore.)

Ships With Kerri:  I fucking adore most of my ships with this angel, and picking favorites is never gonna be easy. But the first two that come to mind? Our ship with Walter  &  Kai, is an old favorite that I will never get sick of. And our ship with Alucard  &  Benjamin, is a newfound favorite that I’ll probably be talking about for years now.

Other Ships:  This ship may not be nearly as developed as the previously mentioned ones, but honestly? Dee and I’s ship with Ripley  &  Alucard, owns my fucking heart too.

{ ⋂ }  —-  describe a ship dynamic you really want.

I refer you to: shipping whore. I could probably ramble about various dynamics  &  whatnot for hours. But the first thing that comes to mind? Literally any ship where I get Betrayal Angst with Walter, is my shit. Bonus points if there’s genuine regret, to some extent. Tear me  &  my traitorous bastard’s hearts out, guys.

Outside of that? Give me a ship with Alucard that’s basis is “hey try to kill me until I feel alive, oh fuck when did I fall in love with you-”  —  I crave it.  (Polar opposite of that, but give me more ships where he gets to be ‘softer’ too; it’s my kryptonite just the same.)

{ ⋑ }  —-  underrated ship you like?

When a fandom’s gotten this small, are really any ships considered that underrated? I don’t know; I don’t keep up with what’s popular or not in the first place. Either way, my first thoughts here were:

Alucard x Anderson  —  This goddamn ship has always, will always, be the death of me. I’ve adored it for years, and it’s never been a commonly talked about one (that I’ve noticed). Seriously, why don’t more people talk about the potential with this one?? Come on guys, there’s so much to this one.

Walter x Seras  —  Hey, Cookie? This one is entirely your fault. I’d never even really considered this goddamn ship, before I saw you mentioning it. I don’t know that it’ll ever have my heart as strongly as some others, but the more I’ve thought about it? It’s fucking adorable, you’re valid, thanks for unintentionally dragging me into Hell with you.

{ ⋒ }  —-  biggest rp pet peeve?

Let’s be real, I have countless things that I could rant about when it comes to the RPC  &  some of the nonsense that happens here. Actually -

My biggest pet peeve, out of everything, is probably when people poorly characterize trauma. Those people that write trauma victims, but use their PTSD  /  related problems as some sort of “plot device” for angst points. The people that write trauma victims, without doing any research on the subject. The people that romanticize it. The people that don’t treat the topic with the care that it requires.

As someone with severe traumas, this drives me absolutely fucking batty. Stop doing this, people. Do your research, talk to victims if you can, and tread carefully with how you handle these subjects  —  because when you don’t do any of that, you look like a total asshole to anyone who knows better. Not to mention, you look awfully damned foolish.

You see Anderson Alexander, and yet there is a gaggle of children , sorry two children around him. From what is expected of him, he won’t , will never show his more ....passionate side to the children less they join iscariot, and even then that is a hit or miss.

What would prevent you from following someone?

i pay quite a bit of attention the mun’s voice when reading rules / pages . some people just come off as extremely aggressive / controlling, and it puts me off from following sometimes !  things like : do not follow and block me immediately if you are abc-phobic and support defg-isms ; it’s irritating when i see too much ooc / photos / literally anything apart from your replies ; i will unfollow n block you if you don’t attempt to approach me within a week and DONT try to contact me asking why i unfollowed you …

i certainly don’t want to interact sexist / racist / lgbtqphobic people myself . in an ideal world,  i would also want to interact with all 100+ of my mutuals on the regular and have them approach me within a week of following me - like wouldn’t that be convenient ?? but in reality , people have their own obligations n priorities. people grow up in diff backgrounds n might not have the exact same viewpoints as u. like. idk,, it just comes off as intolerant and disrespectful.  i dont want to feel like i’m walking on eggshells whenever i log in or make a post.

Are aesthetics important to you? If they are, why?

honestly… no !!! as long as the chara is interesting n there is quality writing i don’t mind if a blog is default tumble theme w no aesthetics or post formats at all  ( w the exception cutting posts and uniform icons ! )  as long as the blog format is consistent n readable i will give any blog a fair shot i think !!  ‘:/c

What current rp trend do you hate?

i honestly rly dislike the dashboard blog thing. i know its hypocritical of me to say this bc i also succumbed to the trend but like. but it makes things so hard to access ,  esp if i want to like, edit or add tags to an old post i have to use mass editor and can’t just edit via permalink rip  ( maybe there’s a way of doing it and im just big dumb who knows )

Do you prefer interacting with male muses or female more? Why?

i dont rly have a preference w muse gender ??? :/c  i honestly follow whoever i find interesting n like,  write w whoever wants to write w me lol .  but i do think female muses approach meph more often - idk if its bc of the distribution of female to male muses on tumble or smth ?? but this happens w so many of my muses - idk if its how i write them or how i come across as a person or smth but like . yeah. orz.

Have you ever had a bad experience with commissions? As either someone who makes them or as someone who buys them?

actually nooo ???? i’ve never bought or made a commission from / for anyone in my life so .. sfkafa i am completely indifferent on this subject.

Have you been involved in drama? Do you regret it?

ive never been in drama ?? i dont think?  i feel like i generally am quite soft spoken n genial on tumblr dash bc im . weary about projecting my views ,,,,

but well, i used to know sb who was caught up in clique drama and they would constantly badmouth abt other users to me . i didn’t know how to outright tell them i wasn’t interested in hearing it,, but yeah we kinda stopped talking after that.

Have you ever felt pressured to write something you weren’t comfortable with?

slightly ???  i have had ppl push ship ideas onto me real strongly . i’m not against ships but they’d come to me w a preconception of who my muse is …  esp w canon muses … its not exactly a huge deal bc i get that ppl are excited to plot n ship characters,  but like .  yeah i have.  i’m not  …  great at refusing people hskfjdfa

What would make you block someone?

idk i’ve never actually blocked anyone  ( lol asides from p.orn bots ) . unfollowing  +  steadfastly ignoring them  usually does the trick for me.  shdfksdjfa

What’s one thing that other people seem to hate that doesn’t bother you?

well. this is a bit controversial …. but i feel like ppl are. too sensitive abt whitewashing ?? like i understand that there’s a problem if icons are deliberately edited to lighten skin tone or if a mun straight up erases the character’s racial identity , but some ppl just use pack psds n when the icons are like. two hexes off from their orig skin tone n people accuse them of bein racist and stuff. like . yeah ok,  maybe it was a poor judgement on the mun’s part ,  but labelling them a racist is just . not cool.

like damn. there are actual people out there suffering from the impact of racism ! victims who have been denied entry n detained at borders, subjected to police brutality, denied their rights to expression n respect in the workplace ,,,,,  like open your eyes,  putting a tinted psd over a picture or wtv is NOT racism oh my god. trying to claim that this falls into the same category ultimately trivialises the issue imo .

D smiled to himself--now if only she had given that attention to his lips instead. Perhaps this is another part of her games of temptation. To get the older hunter so worked up he’ll be overcome with long suppressed desires and given in on the spot. 

  And it would have worked to if he were a lesser man, but Demetri wasn’t the type to lose himself easily. Gently taking the vampire maiden’s face into his hands and looked deep into her eyes for a moment. Examining her plush lips with longing, his lips hovering over her own-- inching closer and closer! Until he quickly moved to give a quick peck to her cheek and released her from his grasp.

If she was expecting a passionate makeout session--Seras will have to work for it. D thought.
