It’s time for Glendale’s 6th event! To welcome the amiable hot breeze of summer, the facility has decided to hold another visiting week for the patients ( as well as staff members ) as a way to make them feel a lot less isolated from the outside as well as their loved ones. Starting from Friday, 19th May to Monday 22nd May, families as well as friends, co-workers, or even mere acquaintances are allowed to visit and spend more time with the patients for a little bit longer than usual. Of course, to ensure security, the meeting will be supervised closely by both the guards and the orderlies, unless of course, they find a few certain sneaky paths to divert the attention away from them as the meeting occurs. Visitors are brought to the cafetaria, the common room, or the outside grounds–including the garden–to interact with the patients.
Hopefully this second visiting week will unlock even more of your characters’ backgrounds through their close ones’ perspectives by playing and interacting with them, spice up even more interesting interactions between one muse and another. Here are the crucial things that we’d like you to carefully read!
The rules are pretty similar to our first visiting week; there will be a temporary faceclaim list for your characters’ connections, please contact the main to reserve them: state the faceclaim, for which character, and what their role is going to be be. The list will look somewhat like this. The faceclaims on said list will then be non-applicable until the event is over. You may begin reserving faceclaims now.
Patients are allowed to have families, friends, even ex-lovers or enemies to visit them–but reminder that the facility will attempt their best to watch over them; be realistic and don’t just make them shout at each other or physically fight amidst the meeting. If that occurs, a guard will likely barge in to pull the visitor away.
Staff members are also permitted to participate in this event, they can have visitors coming as well.
Visitors will be thoroughly searched upon stepping in. Which means no sharp objects, no risky gifts, and food will also be inspected before they’re allowed to proceed any further.
Characters who don’t have anyone visiting can still interact normally with one another or the visitors.
Since this is a four-day event, you are allowed to bring up four visitors throughout event, however, only one visitor each day.
Visiting hours begin at 9 am, the main will announce the start, and then you may begin to post starters.
You are allowed to have two starters a day, one for your connection, one for your main muse.
The starter rule remains, make sure to reply to at least two starters before posting your own. Please only use exclusive starters if it’s truly necessary.
Non-event threads can still continue.
You’re allowed to make starters for the event until Tuesday arrives, you’re allowed to reply to event starters until Wednesday, on-going threads can continue for as long as you’d like.
The faceclaim list for the connections will then be scrapped off by Wednesday, they will become available to non-event applicants again, and from then, we’d like you to stop using gifs/icons for your connection characters to avoid confusion.
If you’re playing as a connection character, make sure to also tag your posts with #char: visitor’s name so we’ll know whom you’re playing as at that moment. Tag your starters with #gdievent006:visitingweek.
Have fun! If you have any questions, please contact the main. I’ll be posting the connection faceclaim list shortly. You may begin messaging the main to reserve.
