Copia as Le génie du mal by Guillaume Geefs

Part 2 of 2 of this exciting commission - I had planned to draw Copia as this statue for years because of how similar their faces are; to be able to do it as a commission was fantastic. Thank you so much!

In 1837 sculptor Joseph Geefs was hired to build a sculpture themed "the triumph of religion over the genius of evil". His statue of the devil (left) was deemed too attractive and was removed for distracting churchgoers. Geefs' brother Guillaume made a replacement(right) which is still on display
