Leaving the house at 8:45am for work to come at 9:15pm from work is… let’s say… not my usual schedule ;) But... well… pandemics have different rules. C’est la vie (Excuse my French).

At least, I came home to find a package with THIS in front of my door. Seriously, I'm humming of joy ;) and I hope to being able to put my new baby to good use soon. Hopefully on Sunday. Thursday and Friday will also be very busy days. On Saturday, I will have to help my dad and my brother.

But Sunday.... weeeell… Sunday... I will (hopefully) record the last missing bits of my “two-parter” that was to be published an eternity ago… :/

The microphone you see above, btw, is - despite its looks (that I adore!) - indeed a serious (and seriously great) microphone. It’s the Neat King Bee. A super inexpensive but incredibly, incredibly good mic. I didn’t believe my ears when I listened to (way too many) tests.

Also, it came with a toy… My Lewitt “just” came with a wristband ;)

pearl enjoyed studying in the library. well, actually, pearl enjoyed studying pretty much anywhere. as long as she was getting her work done in a peaceful environment, it worked for her. the library was especially nice, because it was usually quiet and filled with any book she may ever need.

today she was working on a report that required a lot of sources, which meant a lot of books for her to search and find. she had been wandering the shelves for a bit, desperate to find any book that would work. but so far, she was coming up with nothing. she was just about to give up and go back to her seat when something caught her eye.

since when could play video games at the library, of all places?

she wandered forward, curious and appalled at the same time. in front of her, someone was playing some game she didn’t recognize, but she knew it was something her brother would probably play. but in the library? of all places? she finally approached the person, clearing her throat and standing straight.

“hi, sorry to interrupt, just wondering why you’re playing video games in the library when you’re surrounded by all these wonderful books that you could read instead?”
