When I started reading Record Of Ragnarok, I thought it would be like the meme where someone (Brunhilde) is keeping the humans on leashs so that they don’t do anything crazy.
But, at the Heracles vs Jack Fight, I'm slowly realizing its actually Geir/Goll who is keeping Brunhilde and Humans on a leash, and failing.
HI GEIER IM IN UR INBOX AGAIN but in the hypothetical rare case of a corrupted geier unit, what would they look like/behave like?

But I mostly did it cause I have. Admitedly very mixed feelings on this design. I am having an incredible difficulty designing them and I dont know why. Mostly bad head space and I'll probably make a second post with the actual full design but have these sketches for now cause I find this idea very intruiging.
Disclaimer, I mostly operate in the general idea of Signalises universe having Arianes infection spread to other places OR other bioresonant sources causing infections around world forcing AEON to adress it.
Alright so Corrupted Geiers are insanely rare occurance due to their resistance to actual infection. They just don't go insane or get flesh growths or anything really while fighting off or being in proximity to infection. I understand Arianes bioresonance illness as her literaly corrupting reality so logicly, if Geiers do not bend under the song that flows through universe , they wouldn't suffer from these symptoms or ailments. Yes there are limits and depends on the situation but as a general idea. They are also paired in 5s in order to always watch eachothers backs when clearing out enemies. This is their primary purpose and always will be. The fighting off actual Imperial Bioresonants or even Falkes is a secondary objective that is experimental and AEONs kinda just slowly realizing the potential.
That being said of course things go south sometimes. Too many corrupted overwhelming a squad for example or picking of a single Geier. Attacking and damaging the supressor module is a decomissioning sentence for any Geier really but a Geier near corruption? It's like loosing a shield that protects them. Once that module is gone they are a normal replika (well not normal they completely spiral tbh but thats another story) and will succumb . It can also happen when the bioresonance is just. Too strong. Ariane levels strong probably over time would get them even with their modules. But they would last a lot longer and have their senses more intact than others.
Now actual Corrupted Geiers are fun! They are very easily recognizable by their either incredibly hunched over walk or even full on 4 legged walk. The vented masks take over their entire head, similair to Storches beaks , and have an almost constant smoke coming out of them. Sometimes if you are unlucky enough, you can spot small beady eyes flickering between those gaps. Constant heavy breathing perpetues around them, interupted with the occasional pained growly groan or wheeze. They're choking on the fumes and smoke inside them , the back of their throat literaly being fused into the tube going into the gasoline tank on their backs that is now fueled with mutilated flesh and blood that they feast on. Theres no real need for them to do it , it's a leftover instinct to clean up the dead , to burn it down and devour. It has the added bonus of acting as the fuel for the fire they used to previously serve the nation with . Corrupted Geiers are insanely resistant since they are built to withstand both their own fire AND an attack from Falkes. Bulletproof and heat resistant plating that coats mostly just their fronts now with flesh trying force its way out, bursting at its seams . The back being their only weak place, the flesh there fusing the tank with their back . (If this was an ingame enemy this is pretty easily the weakspot for them , shoot from back with smth big)
So yeah Corrupted Geiers. Not fun to encounter or deal with . They are a bit blind and mostly go off of sounds or quick movement but u cant run once they spot you really. Hope the idea's at least a bit interesting but god i need to draw the design way better.
And alsooo. All i will say about Geiers gestalts origins is that she is heavily connected to Blaus gestalt. It's just. Bad things happened to Geier. And Blau took drastic measures.
