Manga I've Read Through May
Thought I’d do something a little different. While waiting for things to upload at work I’ve been reading some manga thanks to the horrible, wonderful Manga Reader app.
Jigokuren - Love in Hell Though it is a odd, fanservice-y manga I couldn’t help but enjoy it. Even though it was a few months before I read the last few chapters I liked how the story concluded. If I ever have money I might try to purchase it.
Annarasumanara I’ve stared at the title of this one for a while trying to memorize it… and failed. I enjoyed the mysterious air of this one and soon felt guilty that I really wanted the main characters to get together since there was about a 14 year age difference… But they were just so adorable. I also adore the art of this one. The style was just beautiful. I refuse to look up if this one is on sale because I will buy it.
Gekkoh Story: good and cute but kinda predictable. I always feel bad when I want the siblings to end up together but within the first few chapters they had me doubting they were related. Art: the style was nice… Except since it was an ecchi going on hentai I couldn’t help but be bothered by how thin all the women’s clothing was and how no woman wore a bra… This one I’m not sure of I will buy but maybe… It’s at the bottom of the list.
Sundome Oh god… This story… I saw a silly page for it online and decided to see what it was about. It started odd but okay however it quickly became weirder as the characters start acting on fetishes I’d never dream of doing. But the Stephen King like foreshadowing kept me going. (Memories of Bag of Bones come to mind: “I should have kissed her then. I never got another chance.”) Thankfully the ending didn’t leave me feeling drained. As for the art: I felt the same way as I did with Gekkoh. Boobs just don’t work the way they seem to think… I don’t think I’d buy this one and I’m definitely avoiding the live-action movies; the fetishes are a little too odd for me and I’d prefer not to cry like a baby if they keep the same ending since I have developed an unwanted habit of crying if a movie gets slightly sad.
But there we go. I feel a little more productive for the month. Hmm this may be something else I can continue for the hell of it…

I haven't heard this song in such a long time. Whatever happened to this band?
