The #ShadeFx shade screen was installed a few weeks ago for the #taylorresidence project. I stopped in today to have a look. We went with a dark green to blend in with the surrounding tree canopy. All the features of this project blend almost seamlessly with the home and surrounding environment. #woodworking #landscaping #geldermanlandscapeservices #waterdown
A quick enhancement at a condo site in #guelph. The existing timber retaining wall was rotting and falling over. We proposed #celtikwall to tie in with the rest of the property and diverted the downspout into the garden. One of the reasons retaining walls fails is when they have poor drainage. Capping off day 2 of the #headresidence project. What you're seeing is controlled chaos ...lots of things happening at the same time. Not typically ideal but the logistics required this job to go that way. The existing paver stone patio had significant sentimental value for the family. It represented the last project completed together before the loss of a loved one. What's important to them is important to us. The paver stone was lifted along the edges to accommodate a double sailor course border and a Celtik wall and mega curb. We couldn't extend the patio with the existing pavers until we knew how much we could save. Extra caution was taken around their prized birch trees. No roots were cut. A few minor touches to be completed for #taylorresidence project but #landscape and #woodwork are complete. A shade screen by #ShadeFx will be installed under the pergola. The double barn door gate really ties in nicely with the home, complete with custom rough cut cedar panels.
