So apparently in this fucking language a sentence which could be easily translated as "The statue was touching the sky" actually means "The statue was struck by lightning" because Gellius decided that he didn't need a fucking key word in the phrase.

Lara starts laughing hard as Gellius has a deadpan glare. Lara is laughing so much she has to lean on Gellius to stay up. Gellius looks at her and moves her off of him.
