"gal, please, hold your boyfriend" - I was just doodling randomly until I thought "wow, this looks just like that meme!" and then when I saw I started making the genderbend versions of them lol. I really like how it turned out, even though it was just for fun (I can't wait to make Yuri!Sonamy and Yaoi!Sonamy now ehehehe) inspired by the amazing designs of @/Marcy_Bun627 (fem!Sonic) and @e-vay (male!Amy) [x]

Here are my (re)designs for Female!Sonic (still named Sonic, but she prefers to go by "Sony") and male!Amy (who will be named "Amias")

Amias would be voiced by Paul Rudd! 🤩😍 He's charming, hilarious, genuine and loveable, all the traits that make up Amy's personality!

I want to give a huge shoutout to my good friend @hedgethemaze who suggested the brilliant idea of having Sony voiced by Kristen Bell [x] [x] [x] She's so witty and energetic but can also do a variety of emotions as well, a perfect fit for Sonic 😀

And Tails would still be Colleen O'Shaughnessey because she’s the best

Any head-canons you made up for Amais and Sony, or would some things stay the same for them?

Things would be mostly the same, but here are some little ideas I had:

Amias' love for Sony is just as strong and overwhelming as Amy's love for Sonic, but he does make more of an effort to not BOMBARD HER with affection so as not to overstep Sony's boundaries, at least initially. But eventually Sony noticed the physical toll it was taking on Amias and she finally just came out and confessed "Ya know you can hug me whenever you want, right?"

Instead of jumping on Sony like Amy does to Sonic, Amias has a habit of picking her up!

Sony is not good at talking about her feelings, but she discovered that she likes poetry and she finds it easier to work out her thoughts that way. However, she keeps that a secret.

Honestly a funny scenario came to my head

Considering sony just like sonic hates clothing I can imagine when she moves in with amias she would just walk around naked not a care in the world and amias being completely left in shocked

He's just sitting in the couch and sony walks by and says morning and amias repeats back with morning then realizing and just immediately go's and covers her and scolds her XD

I am completely on board with you right up until the end. There's no WAY Amias would scold Sony for that! 😂 Amy/Amias is all for Sonic/Sony living free in every sense of the word, so what Sony wants to wear (or not wear) in the privacy of their home is completely acceptable!

That doesn't mean Amias doesn't get totally flustered by it though (but he sure doesn't mind!)

(If you haven't read it yet, this person is referring to an ask where I said that Sony hates clothes)

If Sony were the one who was pregnant, it would be NOTHING like Boom!Baby. For one, Sony would never get kidnapped because Amias would be monitoring her every second of every day and not let ANYBODY get near his family.

Although Sony did want to have Amias' baby, she hated every second of being pregnant. She still exercised regularly to try and feel as much like herself as possible, but for most of the time she only had two moods:

But Amias doted on her endlessly and smothered her in even more love than usual to try to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

**(@saphstories told me about this trend where people were CAREFULLY holding their pregnant partner's belly and then CAREFULLY lifting it up to alleviate the weight of the baby and it was so cute how the pregnant partner would immediately melt and just be so happy. So I had to include it!)

Whether it's Sonic & Amy or Sony & Amias, they each agree to only have the one baby. Sony was more adamant about it though.

Okay I gotta ask, while we know how sonic and Amy fell for one another how did it go for Amias and Sony getting together? Such as who asked who?

I've said this before but honestly I think most things would be parallel between SonicXAmy and SonyXAmias' love lives. There's not a whole lot that's different between their stories, just a few minor changes.

Amias is still the one that fell madly in love with Sony first and Sony didn't take his affection seriously until they became really good friends and Amias proved that he loves Sony for who she is and doesn't want to change anything about her.

I'd still have Amias start to kind of pull back (out of respect for Sony's boundaries) and that leads Sony to panic that Amias is losing interest in her so she asks him out without asking him out haha. And in the end when Amias is confused about what Sony's intentions and feelings are, that's where I'd have it go a little different because I picture Sony being even worse at speaking her feelings. So she'd dash to her shack and grab her poetry journal and hand it over to Amias and tell him to just read it. As Amias is reading one of her poems he asks "Wait, is this about me?" and Sony would say "Keep reading... Most of 'em are about you..."

And then just like with Sonic and Amy, they affirm that they belong to each other and then kiss like crazy heeehee!

I am completely in love with your concepts for genderbent sonamy!!!! The lil comic you made fits them so well but also sparks somethin new because theyre genderbent. LOVE IT!!

I’m so delighted you enjoy them! 🥰 I was originally just going to post the redesigns but once I started drawing them I couldn’t stop coming up with ideas for those two. They were a lot of fun!
