7. How are they coping with becoming the Inquisitor?

at first he was.....very anxious and upset about it. sure he was the clan’s first but he never....really wanted to be in charge of so many people. he wanted to be the halla keeper. he made some poor choices, and one choice he regrets the most was making alexius tranquil. that really shook his self-confidence.

in all honesty, cassandra and josephine are the ones he relied the most heavily on during this time. cassandra was firm in her beliefs, and he found refuge in her unshakeable disposition. he asked for her advice a lot, along with josephine’s. eventually, he grew into it and became more confident in himself and his decisions.

17. How freely do they express their opinions?

at first, Gene was more soft spoken and tried to stay as ambiguous and vague as possible. i mean, after all, people thought he killed the divine and that he was a heretic mage elf. not the best thing to be in ferelden.

as time went on though, and as he grew into becoming the inquisitor, he became more outspoken and often says what he believes. he still filters himself, keeping quiet when it benefits him, but as soon as he sees an opportunity you can count on gene to say what’s on his mind. unfortunately, ever since he began dating dorian and hanging out with sera, he’s also developed a taste for sarcasm and...a few crude insults

27. Do they know any party tricks?

aside from his magic tricks (like making people’s hair stand on end or creating magnets), gene can walk on his hands for quite a while. he’s also not half bad at shadow puppets but samrith swears that’s a hart, not a halla

37. What style of clothing would they wear [in a modern au]?

tbh he’d probably be into mori fashion

it’s loose, earthy, comfy, and reminds him of forests and mountains
