Genesis does not want to be the one to tell her kids the truth about The Tooth Fairy, The Easter Bunny, Santa, etc.
She swears she’ll let them believe in all of that stuff until they hit puberty. She believe kids should stay imaginative and naive for as long as they can!
On top of having two kids, Genesis has two dogs and two cats.
The dogs are named Pickle (named by her son) and Furdinand.
Cats are named Santa Claws (named by her daughter, pun enforced by Genny) and Miss Thang (she’s an outside cat Genny started to feed).
Genesis SWORE she was going to give her kids “normal” names since she felt her name was a bit weird.
That all changed when her ex-husband lost a bet to a friend one night they Genny, her husband, and friends were all playing poker. His friend Richie said that if their first baby was a boy, he got to name it and he wouldn’t tell them the name he picked out until he was born. As soon as she gave birth and was holding hew new born baby boy in her arms, Richie burst through the door and screamed the name Titan at her. She wasn’t in love with the name first, thinking it was just a “meat head boy name”, but it grew on her.
Mauve’s name was a compromise. Her mother wanted the name Moira for a girl and Maurice for a boy, both names of relatives. Genny hated both. She was dress shopping for a friend’s wedding and came across a dress the color mauve. Since that day, she couldn’t get the name out of her head and when she told her mom that might be her daughter’s name, after some convincing and bottle of wine, her mother felt like it was the closest thing to Moira or Marvin since Genny’s second pick for a name was Kendall, which literally made her mother spit. Her mother hates the name Kendall (so she learned).

Super Duper Quick Bio: If you asked Genny, she lived an average, typical Long Island life until she was 19. Her family is big, loud, close, overbearing, and loving. She lives most of her life in her two older siblings’ shadows, one’s a brain surgeon and the other is a broadway star.
When she was 19, however, she met the love of her life while out for a friend’s birthday. While waiting in line to sign her friend up for the Party Chair at the bar they were at, she met Sebastian. They hit off, exhcanged numbers and before she knew it they had been dating for about a month. He confessed he was in the U.S. Military Reserves. Genny saw this as a way to finally get out of Long Island and live a little outside of the shadows of her brother and sister. After six months of dating, they were married and for four years they traveled around. A year into their marriage, Genny got pregnant with her son, Titan. Four years later, she was pregnant with their daughter, Mauve. When Mauve was two, Sebastian confessed to cheating on Genny multiple times. Devasted, she and Sebastian got a divorce and she moved to raise her children by herself.
Now, Genny raises her two children, now 9 and 5, by herself, with some help from her parents who moved closer to her and her best friend. Sebastian comes by when he’s on leave or visiting a nearby base to spend some time with his kids. Even though Genny hasn’t forgiven him, she puts on a friendly face for her children. She just feels like she’s stuck back in her curse of being average, with the exception of her two beautiful and crazy children.
When it comes to dating, she’s out of touch. She tries from time to time but focuses the majority of her energy raising her kids. She’s the kind of woman who mainly shops at thrift stores or takes hand-me-downs. Sometimes she only lives off of the leftovers her children refuse to eat or on a box of crackers or ice cream.
Habits: drinks, smokes weed sometimes, smokes cigarette occasionally, other drugs are tbd
