Tosh bit back a hiss of pain as Jack patched up her side. It was superficial at best; the bullet had only just grazed her skin. Didn’t make it any less painful, though she tried her best to hide it. She knew he was being as gentle as possible as he cleaned the wound and bandaged it. He always was. "Jack, it’s really not that bad… Look after someone else first," she told him with as much force as she could muster. "It’s barely more than—" an involuntary, incriminating gasp, "—a scratch," she finished, her voice somewhat quieter than it had been.
"Owen's got the others." He said almost more sharply than he meant to as he finished patching the wound up, leaning back to have a good look at her and check for other injuries. "You're the farthest from the group so in my care." Across the building he could see Owen working away at Gwen and Ianto trying his best to look tough. With care he took a needle from a pack he'd pulled out of the truck before rushing over, handing it to her carefully.
"Some strong pain killers and a bit of rest and you'll be right a rain." He offered her his best smile as he sat back, his own injuries healing slowly under his clothing. At least he never required medical attention.
