important interaction notes: genji is a cyborg and goes through several very contrasting arcs in this time that will affect how he perceives himself and the world around him. he is young and rebellious before his injury, spiteful and self-loathing for years afterwards. he eventually finds inner peace and a love for the world, for simplification these can be thought of as acts i / ii / iii.
genji is homosexual, in act 1 he is very promiscuous with many women. this doesn't get erased from my portrayal but the reasons behind it are detailed as compulsive heterosexuality, this is very crucial to my portrayal and another layer of self acceptance he eventually finds.
