Operation Geno’s Colony Event #1: The Supply Run After surviving for nearly two weeks off of the supplies left over in the gas station and restaurant the survivors colonized, food and fresh water are slowly reaching their end. Although most survivors showed great strategy skills concerning the rationing of all supplies, there was still a large group to feed and the results from that are rapidly showing. We’ve kept a very close eye on the group of survivors as their personalities appeared to clash even more now that supplies were running low. Luckily, after a surprising “colony meeting”, the group of leaders finally came to a decision to send out a group into the city of Manhattan and gather any supplies they can find. Thirteen out of the thirty survivors were chosen for the “supply run”, which included:

The other seventeen survivors will be in charge of the settlement during their absence. The plan to gather supplies involved the team leaving at dawn on Friday morning, and returning just before the sun sets on the same day. They are aware of how dangerous it would be to spend the night on the other side of their protective walls, among the infected. If the scouting team does not return by nightfall on Friday, the remaining survivors would face a grave decision. They could wait and risk losing almost half of their colony, or send a small group to look for and possibly rescue the group. To prevent any incidents, however, the scouting group has taken a great amount of weapons to protect themselves from any dangers they face outside the colonies, both handguns and knives, bats, axes, etc etc.Â
For this event all members can para any way they wish during the course of this scavenging mission. You may also use gifchat for quicker progression. You can para with multiple people at once (as long as the paras do not clash chronologically, remember your character cannot be at two places at once), or create multiple-character threads. Every gif or para thread must be tagged with 'genoevent1'. Several updates will play a big role on this specific event, so we suggest you also track the tag 'genoeventupdate'. This event will start at 9pm, EST, Friday night (even though it will be Friday morning ICly), and will end 8pm, EST, Tuesday night. Things will begin to wrap up Monday night, and the event will begin its "completion" Tuesday afternoon.Â
