What made you want to go down the Psychology route? What part of the field really grabs your interest?
I actually went into university as an education major and we were required to take a psychology course on child development and I found it so interesting, I took more and love them so I decided to switch majors.
Abnormal psychology is definitely one of the most interesting aspects of my academic career. I also did some original research on gender/sexuality, which was interesting to me but yielded mostly insignificant results.
If I could do it over, I’d probably go with sociology, because I took more sociology courses than I did psychology since my minor overlapped with sociology and I took all soc courses for my gen. eds., to be fair. It was really great to have both perspectives on certain issues, though.
