what moon emoji do you think best represents him?

this is such an interesting question... i’ve never really looked at the moon emojis until now.

i’m torn between two options: 🎑 and 🌑.

the first one because while the moon is not the main focus of the image, it’s still in the background and watching over the ceremony that’s taking place. i’d like to believe that jonghyun is still with us, even if he’s not with us.

the second one if you’re asking for an actual emoji of the moon; the new moon is often a symbol for new beginnings. i think that at different times, people are different phases of the moon. jonghyun could’ve easily been at the end of the lunar cycle rather than the beginning, but i’d like to think of this as a fresh start for not only him but us as well. 

i think jonghyun is an inspiration to many. he encouraged everyone, not just his fans but people in general too, to be better versions of ourselves through his music, his actions and his words; it was and is still up to us to decide to do with what he taught us and that’s what i think this new beginning is supposed to be.

lantern - how did you meet your best friend? What were your first impressions of each other?

- @witchydae afhdhsWe’ve talked about this before and she thought I was intimidating and hated her lmao, I thought she was really sweet but too sensitive and she probably wouldn’t take my humor or teasing well (but she does)

harvest - what fictional character do you most identify with? Why?

- I can’t really think of a fictional character so I’m just gonna say an idol I relate a lot to?? There’s a few like yoongi from bts especially, we come off as kind of lazy and intimidating but we’re actually rlly passionate and big softies (well I still am lazy but he isn’t) uhh… some other ones I can relate to are Minseok (minus his cleanliness) and Sehun :’)

34: What is a color that calms you?- Hm I really like any pastel, but I especially love lavender. It’s just so nice to look at idk

42: Who is someone you love deeply?- Other than my family, I’m going to say Mackenzie ( @velvetpcy ), we’ve been best friends for over 4 years now and we’ve been through a bunch of high school ups and downs, lost friends and made new ones together, and well she’s really too sweet for this world and I love her so much… she’s like the sister I never got to have ❤️

51: Favorite actor and/or actress?- ahdjdjd I don’t really keep up with any but I like Matt Damon even if he left Luhan to d*e in that one movie… I also love Leonardo DiCaprio’s movies (His look in the titanic?? Legendary)

12. Do you have any pets? What kind and what are their names?

yes! i have a snake named Sarabi (i call her pastrami and lots of other names) and a cat named Yongz! (my roomates call her Lucifer but she’ll always be yongz in my heart)

19. Name an album that is so good, you never skip a song.

tbh there’s like no album i feel that way about bc i listen to music depending on my mood, but I can listen to every song on Dirty Work by All Time Low and don’t hate any of them!!
