After Kamil had announced his arrival to Arcadia, Laney had been feeling a mix of emotions. From her fight with Georgia to Kamil leaving all of a sudden then casually waltzing back to the island, she wasn’t sure how to feel at first when it was all happening. 

One thing was for sure, she didn’t want to go back home. Not yet anyway. The awkward tension with Georgia was enough to drive her out of the house. 

So, after reconnecting with Kamil, truthfully, she didn’t want to leave his arms. It was the little ounce of support she needed in one of her loneliest moments as of late. 

She had already felt bad about getting upset with him for something that wasn’t really his fault, so she didn’t want to intrude on his routine, but she asked anyway. 

Just a movie or two, then I’ll leave.

Kamil was far too nice for his own good. She didn’t deserve to be treated with such kindness, but she was too caught up in her storm of emotions to control her words and requests. 

After a countless number of movies, it was already getting late, but Laney was settled on his couch with him. It felt...nice to just sit around, watch movies, and forget about everything else for a while. She should get up and leave, feeling as tired as she was. 

She had already overstayed her welcome, but when she shifts, she feels a pair of arms around her torso and she looks down to be greeted by a sleepy Kamil. Smiling a little, she figured that another minute or two wouldn’t hurt, so she settles back down. However, his face was too cute to not take a picture, hehe. He was like a sleeping kitten!

After saving a picture of a sleepy Kamil in her phone and getting settled down for another few minutes, she felt herself get sleepy. Needless to say, she ended up waking up the next morning at his house feeling more embarrassed than ever.

“W-whoa, what brought this on?” She pulls away with a light laugh, a bit surprised at the sudden, but warm, hug. Kamil didn’t do this sort of thing often, but she certainly wasn’t complaining. Confused, maybe, but not bothered.

It was nice.

Smiling, Georgia pulls him in again for a hug of her own. Things had been... pretty rough for her lately, so it was nice to know that she had people she could turn to when she needed it the most. This was just her way of showing that he could count on her, too. “Well... whatever it was for, thanks. Love you, Kammy. ♪”
