I'd really like to write a Hades and Persephone AU for Respectfulshipping but I can't decide what rating or level of violence I want to enact because I'm comfortable with all levels. I also can't decide who ought to be Perseophone and who ought to be Hades.

Like I can see persephone!Ryoken with his father as Demeter and lonely Spectre, king of the ghostly underworld, as Hades.

But I can also see the inverse, Ryoken who deals in death as his own father is the god of it, he merely watches over the suffering and nice soft pastel Spectre in the garden and Ryoken wanting him over all others.

I think once I can cast roles, it might just roll off the tips of fingers

She tried to stay patience as giggles spread across the room, as Yuya blushed and made his way over to her, but the minute he began to mutter another apology for the “weird bottle,” Yuzu snapped.

She let him know exactly what she thought of the bottle by pushing him down and kissing him until all his earlier apologies were lost to the party’s screaming.

Hilariously awful sex scenes are a dime-a-dozen. Especially if it goes either in the "ikea" way or the "Trying to cop the crappy hentai translation feel" way.

While you have a point, might I remind you of the two cakes theory of fandom. In this case, quantity is an important contributing factor. And in the case of the Twilight fandom, where 50 Shades has its roots, there’s already been a benchmark set with regards to acceptable quality. (Is it surprising that I couldn’t get through the first Twilight book, either? Though in that case it WAS because I was so offended by Edward’s actions.) Not to say I don’t have my own guilty pleasures, because I definitely do. I’m just saying quantity is actually a pretty significant contender in the field of fanfiction. I mean heck, what other reason would I have to keep writing Princess Tutu fanfiction in which Autor and Anteaterina inexplicably meet and fall in love over and over again but slightly differently each time?
