1: Why do you like/dislike this character?

Blackclover

I like him because he's tragic and full of angst, he's gay, and his relationship with Geodeflash is entertaining.

I don't like that I chose a picrew and gave him markings that are difficult to copy in a way that I like, so I can't do bases with him.

Shortberry

I just think he's neat! I picture him always trembling just a little, a jittery guy.

I don't think there's anything I don't like! But it would be neat if he found a loving mate and had kits and had tiny jittery babies.

7: What is something the fandom (you guys) do when it comes to this character that you like?

This goes for any of my characters, but I like it in general when he's included in something! Being art (especially art tbh, that's super cool), base stuff, or stories. Him and his poly along with the Tunnel Poly are my very very favourites, so I enjoy seeing them the most, though again seeing any of my characters receive love is absolutely amazing!

I also like it when people make him a little shit. Honestly it's true, he is such a little shit.

10: Could you be best friends with this character?

Uhh....

I think we would get along as far as talking about death and torture goes, but assuming I know what I know about him, I would not be able to trust him fully. If I only knew him as another character might know him, it might be different, but idk.

could you imagine someone who only sees Blackclover/Geodeflash very little

and one day they see them cuddling as loving mates, which is very confusing because the last that cat saw, they were literally trying to kill each other

No Longer Violent--Geodeflash and Blackclover

Another thing I want to make clear just in case is Geodeflash and Blackclover are not violent towards each other when they become mates.

It took a long time for either of them (Black specifically) to actually talk to each other, and a lot more for self-healing and communication to happen between them before they both decided that they were comfortable and okay with taking the next step.

They may rough-house and banter, in fact, I think they'd still be very competitive and teasing, but this time it is with love, not hate, and it has all been communicated before hand (and everything is open to being discussed at any time).

They may have tried to kill each other before, but they are a healthy couple, damnit!

if you wouldn't mind using some classic otp tropes you could make blackclover go to the brumal to get away from everyone but geodeflash follows anyways and they are still on edge around each other but they have to stick together to keep warm

When I say that Black and Geode's relationship is a slowburn I mean it is a slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow burn

You gotta remember these guys are dead for eternity. They are where they are now forever. Which means they have a LONG time for events to occur.

A huge reason why they began to like each other at all after trying to kill each other and fighting for a long time is because they spent so long together. Yeah, it was to hurt each other (or a subconscious motive to hurt themselves, at least for Black), but then Geode gave Black the harsh wound on his neck and realized suddenly that he doesn't want to kill Black, he doesn't want to lose him.

In a weird and twisted way, they were the only ones that were ever there for each other, the only ones they had

And it's weird for both of them because they're like "wtf do I like him now?? Why??" and it confuses them even more when the feelings turn romantic against their wills.

Say, for example, a she-cat from one of their Clans had kits by the time they met. Those kits would be elders by the time their feelings turned into a crush. And it would still be a while with self-healing and long talks before an actual relationship began

Had a thought

What if Blackclover fought with Geode so much because not only did he believe he didn’t deserve happiness, but he believes he deserves pain, which was another reason he was so upset when Geode was going easier on him?
