I learned in my geography classes here in Mexico the 5 continent formula, so I never knew til my twitter crisis, about how Antarctica is considered a continent, how Australia is considered a continent and it doesn't include New Zealand aaaand that America is considered two continents. Damn you english speakers.
oh man I don’t even know what the 5 continent formula is, I’m curious now. I always learned 7 and it bugged me to no end that it was just Australia and disregarded all the other island nations out there because they need to go somewhere, too. That’s why I like Oceania because even though it’s not *technically* a continent it gives New Zealand and all the Pacific islands somewhere to be.
