Week 8???? I feel like I have aged 1000 years since getting here, and I dont know how to feel. I have an English exam on Thursday and it's a long day on Thursday :(. But it is my birthday on Monday! woohoo! ummm, I started watching TOTA and I love it so much. I also miss my theatre company people a bit because I see their videos on the instagram and im like "augh, my friends". It's mother's day tomorrow so I'm crocheting a bookmark and a coaster for my host mom because I'm nice like that :). two weeks left

germany week 7! 3 weeks left. It’s getting to the point in the exchange where everything feels being really dragged out. I went to trier yesterday to buy some souvenirs and some curly hair shampoo. I tried the shampoo on my wavy hair and i think it turned out pretty good! Today I’m playing in a concert, again in trier. It’s the closest big city near us 😭 my birthday is in 8 days so I’m excited for that. (I’m turning 16!) It’s also been really sunny recently and I am regaining the will to live!

week 6 already? DAMN! No photos this week because I am writing this on my laptop. This week has been hard, with gender dysphoria, and going on a family camping trip to the Netherlands. I had an excellent time in the Netherlands however (only cried once hurrah!) bought a souvenir for myself, a magnet of a windmill with the word "holland" underneath. I also bought a really cute seal plushie, and got some pretty cool new mutuals! 4 weeks to go! I got this! Goal this week is to watch/listen to one thing in German (not dubbed), and practice more things for mean girls.

Germany week 5 wowee! halfway point woohoo! This week has been pretty boring, but that's because im on spring break. Tomorrow im getting up early to go to a church at 6 A.M. for easter (im not even christian, but tomorrow is Sunday, which is lord Apollon's day) we are also going camping in the Netherlands on Tuesday so that's exciting! I also realized that im not agender, im a demiboy!

Germany week 3

slowly getting into the swing of things. Consumed so much David Tennant content this week tbh (go follow tennant.chronicles on insta). I'm going to Luxembourg tomorrow which is exciting!! Next week is the next week before easter break so woohoo!! Goal for next week is to write down 10 German words per day, and finish 3 PE assignments.

Germany week two. Eight to go this week was the first full week at school and I got my schedule! Kinda boring I guess. There was a school prank that the grade 13s played, called an Abistreich I think. That was very funny and super intricate! I’ve been struggling a bit with dysphoria, considering nobody calls me jasper here, but other than that, it’s been okay. We had a barbecue yesterday and then watched „emperors new groove“ which in German translates to „a kingdom for a llama“.
